Dale E. "Bub" Erwin, 70, of Coplay, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born on November 5, 1952, in Allentown, he was a son of the late Edwin and Gloria (Boger) Erwin. Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Bonita "Bonnie" Erwin. He was a graduate of Catasauqua High School and was employed as a birch beer maker with Banko Beverage. He volunteered as a coach for the NAA football program for 30 years. Dale enjoyed fishing in the Thousand Islands and hunting. He was a member of the Northampton VFW Post 4714.

Survivors: Dale is survived by his sons, Kyle D., Justin J. and wife, Maryann; granddaughter, Kasey; brother-in-law, Jim Reed and wife, Janet; and nephews, Jonathan Reed and wife, Heather, Jim Reed and wife, Chelsea. A sister, Diane Sofka, preceded Dale in death.

Services: Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, September 28th from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
