Clyde Henry Twiss born on September 23, 1937, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on September 2, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Clyde A. and Helena Twiss.

In addition to his parents Clyde was preceded in death by his brother Bill Eppler, and his sisters Mary Finnigan, and Bernice Baldwin.

He is survived by his wife Nicole Twiss and his children, Kimberly Berger (Greg), Wendy Maire and Anthony Twiss; and his step children Colby Benner and Parker Benner.

He was a grandfather, lovingly known as Pop-Pop, to Tyler Berger, Jessica Berger; Jayson Berger (Alexis), and Cole Hart; and great grandchildren Bryson, Addison and Joey.

Clyde was a gentle and kind man who will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him. Clyde served in the US Navy (1955-1958 / Reserves 1958-1961) where he began his love of photography when he became an official photographer for the Navy. He left a legacy of decades chronicling the lives of his family and friends in photographs. He worked as a school bus driver for the past 32 years, that ended just this past June with Northampton County School District and was a favorite to many students. Clyde especially cherished his friendship with a group he fondly called “The Gang” that spanned his life from teenage years to present. And as a “city boy” he was an avid fan of all Philadelphia sports teams.

A celebration of Clyde’s life will be held on Sunday, October 4th, 2:00 PM at Upper Saucon Social Quarters, 4900 Lanark Rd, Center Valley PA.
