Christine C. Yost, 88, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Renaissance Home, Northampton; wife of the late Frank J. Yost, Sr. Born March 9, 1935. She grew up in Petersville, the daughter of the late Paul J. and Jennie (Miller) Koch. Christine earned her cosmetology certification from Allentown Beauty School and was a hairdresser for over 40 years, owning her own salon, Christine Yost Beauty Salon, in Catasauqua. She was a member of the LV Hairdresser Association and served as a president for two years. Also, she was active with the former Coplay Seniors, Red Hat Society, was a member of Annunciation B.V.M. (St. Mary's) Catholic Church, and loved polkas and country western music. Her Pennsylvania Dutch cooking was enjoyed by all. She loved to attend all her grandchildren's events.

Christine is survived by: Sons, Frank Jr., Steven and wife, Kathleen, John, and Edward; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. Christine was predeceased by her brothers, Paul, Grant, Jay, and Samuel, and sister, Joyce.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 4th at 10:00 a.m. in the church, 122 Union St., Catasauqua. Family and friends may call Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
