Christine M. (Geosits) Deutsch, 90, formerly of Allentown, PA and Macungie, PA, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born on December 15, 1933, to Rose (Milisits) & Joseph Geosits, Christine grew up in Northampton, the youngest of four children, and graduated from Northampton High School in 1951. She married the love of her life, Robert Deutsch, in 1952. They were married for 40 years until Robert's death in 1992. She was a past member of Our Lady Help of Christians, and she enjoyed volunteering at the parish. Christine was a devoted wife and mother. Her personality was larger than life and her feisty and fiery attitude served her well. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and baking for holidays and family celebrations, trips to the casino and spending time with her casino friends. She enjoyed listening to NFL Football games, music and news talk shows and sharing what she learned. Her home was her pride and joy, and her door was always open. She was predeceased by her parents; husband, Robert; sisters, Rose (Geosits) Frisch and Mary (Geosits) Kopach; and brother, Joseph Geosits. She is survived by her daughter, Christine Leanch, of Macungie, PA and her son, Robert Deutsch Jr., of Nazareth, PA; Sister-in-Law, Theresa Geosits; Grandsons, Michael Leanch, Robert Leanch (Jenna) and Robert "RD" Deutsch III (Isabella); Great-grandson, Joseph Leanch; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, 8:45-9:45 a.m. at Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton.  A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the church. Interment will be at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton. Arrangements are being handled by Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Online condolences may be offered below.
