Charles (Charlie) Schrameyer, 73, of North Whitehall Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 19, 2021 in his daughter's home after a lengthy illness. Born on June 12, 1947 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank J. and Pauline (Sakaschitz) Schrameyer. Charlie honorably served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Following his discharge, he served as a police officer in Philadelphia and South Whitehall Township. He was later employed by several Lehigh Valley companies in sales and service positions. Charlie and his wife, Diane, celebrated 50 years of marriage on October 24th. Charlie loved spending time with family and friends and was thrilled to become a pop-pop. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Whitehall.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Charlie is survived by a daughter, Kristen Schrameyer; son, Chad and wife, Crystal Schrameyer; and granddaughter, Rochelle.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 1 ^st at 10:30 AM in the church at 4456 Main St., Whitehall. Those in attendance will kindly be asked to wear a face cover and practice social distancing. Interment will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Whitehall.
