Charles F. "Rex" Unger, 89, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Constance C. "Connie" (Hill), who passed away on Sept. 11, 2020. Born July 26, 1932, in Northampton, he was a son of the late George and Mary (Stoisits) Unger. Charles was a supervisor at Tarkett until retiring in 1988 after 34 years. During his career, he also served as a Union Representative for 17 years. Charles honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Northampton American Legion. He was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and active with the Men of Malvern. Charles was a 4 ^th Degree Knights of Columbus.

Survivors: sons, Stephen and wife, Alyce, John, Karl and wife, Rhea, Michael and wife, Donna; daughters, Cynthia Unger-Beaudway and husband, Ronnie, and Susan Vince; 26 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Kistler and husband, Richard and Sister Stephanie Marie; brother, George Unger; and several nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by his son, Timothy.

Services: A Memorial Mass will be announced at a later date.
