Carol A. Gardner, 69 of Walnutport, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, in her home. Born on April 19, 1952, in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Angela (Mullner) Peklich. Carol and her husband, Edward celebrated 49 years of marriage together. She was employed as a secretary for Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit 21, PPL, and Horsehead Corporation. Carol was a member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church in Northampton.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by son, Brad A., and wife Laura; grandsons, Carson, Carter; sisters, Cindy Jakoby and husband Ron, Cathy Hawk and husband Edward and several nieces and nephews. Daughter Lisa preceded Carol in death.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the church, 2181 Washington Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
