Carl V. Simcoe, 79, formerly of Northampton, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at home in Pine Grove, PA, surrounded by his loving family. Carl and his wife, Elaine (Smicker), celebrated 58 years of marriage on September 19th. Born September 7, 1943, in Northampton, he was a son of the late Joseph F. and Helen (Onuschak) Simcoe. For twenty-seven years, Carl was the owner and operator of Hillside Econo Beverage (Beer Distributor) in Northampton. Carl also hauled mail for a mail contractor for twenty years. He was a devoted member of the Queenship of Mary Church. Carl enjoyed fishing, boating and trains. He was also an avid football fan cheering on Penn State, the Eagles, and his hometown team of Northampton. Carl played for the Northampton Football Team during his high school years.

In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by his daughters, Christina Joyce and husband, Tim, Stephanie Tackack and husband, Scott M., Carla Simcoe-Frye, and Jennifer Krawchuk and husband, Andrew F.; 8 grandchildren, Jacob, Thomas, Anya, Alexander, Evan, Samuel, Nicholas, and Daniel; sister, Cynthia Nissen; and several nieces and nephews. Carl was predeceased by brother, Gerald Simcoe, and sisters, Eleanor Klingler, Gertrude Heinick, and Ethel Mae Lilly.

Private services are at the convenience of the family.
