Bruce D. Burger, 86, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Clara (Miletics) Burger. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in June. He was the son of the late Calvin and Mae (Bower) Burger. Bruce graduated from William Allen High School and was a local union bricklayer until he retired. He was an active member of the Friendly Fifties and participated in the CWV Dart League. He was a parishioner of Queenship of Mary in Northampton. Bruce enjoyed going to the casino, bus trips and summer vacations to OCMD, and was always one for telling a good story. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 5 sons: Rick (Maureen), Tim (Joanne), Jack (Ann), Bronson (Steph) and Randy (Annette), 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a sister, Dawn (Burger) Cirocco.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wed., May 26 th at 10:30 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 st St., Northampton. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. The Mass will also be available via livestream on the church's YouTube channel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be presented to the church in loving memory of Bruce. Online condolences may be offered above.
