Betty I. Watson, 90, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth. Born July 9, 1936, in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Helen (Zader) Kratzer Sr. Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James. She worked as a seamstress for several companies throughout her career and later served in dietary services at Sacred Heart Assisted Living. Betty was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Kreidersville. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, word puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren. 

Survivors: Betty is survived by her son, Scott; daughters, Colleen, wife of Mark Dangler, Charlene, wife of Jeff Heintzelman, and Sherri Watson, wife of Dan Milton; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Paul and Mahlon Kratzer; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her brothers, Roland and Edward, and her sister, Marie Moyer. 

Services: Family and friends may gather on Monday, September 14, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Zion Cemetery in Kreidersville. Online condolences may be offered below.
