Barbara Ann Murphy, 86 of Schnecksville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 1, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born on July 24, 1936 in Mountainville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer and Cora (Zimmerman) Frey. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of over 55 years, Merrill in 2008. She was employed as a secretary for Lehigh University Engineering and a car rental sales representative for ABE Airport for many years. Barbara was a faithful member of St. Paul's UCC, Northampton. She enjoyed attending bible study at BSF Bible Study in Bethlehem for 18 years. Family was her greatest joy. She loved spending time with her family, boating, shopping, traveling and Disney trips. She was full of life; always on the move, volunteering at events, making friends wherever she went. Barbara was the #1 fan of 3D Dance School and supporting her grandchildren in all they did.

Survivors: Barbara is survived by her daughter, Linda Reiter with whom she resided and her children, Lindsay Reiter; Christopher Reiter; son, Terrence Murphy, wife Karen and his children, Jennifer Murphy Gabovitz, husband Michael and their daughter, Kirsten; Rebecca Murphy-Geroulo and her children, Christian Sabwa, Gabriella Sabwa, Lilliana Geroulo; Shawn Murphy, wife Megan and their children, McKenna Murphy, Shane Murphy and brother, Wilmer Frey Jr and wife Cheryl. A son-in-law, Carl Reiter and brother, Kenneth Frey preceded Barbara in death.

Services: Family and friends may gather on Friday, July 28th from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown. Online condolences may be offered below.
