Anthony Viola, of Brooklyn, NY, lived happily for 72 years before peacefully passing on Monday, February 21, 2022. He spent his final moments at home in Northampton, PA, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 7, 1949, son of the late, Michael and Rose (Bassano) Viola. Anthony was the proud owner of Metro Flicks in Brooklyn for 20 years, where he translated his love for cinema to a well-rounded business. When he moved to Pennsylvania, Anthony became a restaurant manager at Perkins in Whitehall, then retiring in passenger services at ABE Airport. Anthony enjoyed entertaining and socializing with friends and family, especially cooking for those he loved. As hobbies, he enjoyed watching historical documentaries, tending to house and garden plants, and doing arts and crafts. He was happiest while travelling in tropical surroundings. He turned the simplest moments into larger-than-life memories.

Survivors: wife, Addie; children, Michael and wife, Jasmine, Sandy Garbarino and husband, Eddie, Jestina Viola, Lux Herrera and wife, Sophia, Anthony Jr. and partner, Alex, and Arianna Viola and fiancé, Cy; grandchildren, Michael, Sofierose, Mallory, Carmella, and Antonia; sisters, Vienna and Rosemarie; brother, Lenny; and several nieces and nephews. Anthony was predeceased by four of his brothers, Michael, Joseph, Robert, and Steven.

Services: The family will be holding a memorial on Tuesday, March 1st at 11:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. A prayer service will follow at 1:00 p.m.
