Anthony D. Stanz of Whitehall, PA, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, in his home. He was 73.

Tony was born on July 15, 1948, in Northampton, PA, to the late Anthony P. and Agnes H. (Geosits) Stanz. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, and was the proprietor of Back In Time in Bethlehem, PA, for nearly 30 years. In addition, Tony worked for Western Electric, and Daku Antique and Classic Coachworks for a number of years, and was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Coplay, PA. He was also a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America and the Allentown Area Corvette Club.

Tony had a passion for vintage automobiles and restoration, planes and creative precision. He loved model building, and that love became his successful livelihood, which earned both his customers and him numerous awards in antique automobile shows. His work and dedication were admired by everyone who appreciated his craft. He held on to memories and gave generously to the people and organizations he cared about. And for anyone who heard his hearty laugh, it was certainly infectious.

Tony is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Stanz) Tefankjian and husband, Gregory; brother, Gerald S. Stanz; former wife, Marietta Stanz; and many cousins and friends.

Services will be private.

A celebration of life and the burial will be held at a later date.
