Anna R. Marakovits, 88, of Northampton passed away peacefully Saturday October 1, 2016 in her home. Born February 8, 1928 in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Dragovits) Marakovits.

Anna retired in 1993 from Egypt Pants after 38 years of employment. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church and the Altar & Rosary Society.

Survivors: several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her sister, Mary Hammel, brothers, Edward and Joseph Marakovits.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 5th at 10:30am in Queenship of Mary Church 1324 Newport Ave. Northampton. Family and friends may call Wednesday 9:15am - 10:15am in the church. Burial will follow in the Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery. Contributions: memorials may be presented to the church.
