Anna H. Bankos, 89, of Northampton, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Saturday, October 21, 2023, in Renaissance Home, Northampton. Born on March 9, 1934, in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late John and Agnes (Trobits) Geosits. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 2011. She was the co-owner and cook at the Laurel Hotel in Cementon for many years. She was a member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church in Northampton and Young at Heart.

Survivors: Anna is survived by her children, Rita Sipics and husband, Frank, Thomas Bankos and wife, Christina, Valerie Cowitch and husband, George, Janet Kromer and husband, Scott; 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Granddaughter, Hannah, sister, Agnes Stanz, and brothers, Stephen and George Geosits, preceded Anna in death.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 30th at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 22nd & Washington Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may gather on Monday from 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. in the church. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Whitehall. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Online condolences may be offered below.
