Obituary

Ann Marie Stimpfl, 97 of Northampton passed away peacefully Monday August 2, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Retired Lieutenant Colonel Frank F. Stimpfl who died March 12, 2008. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late John and Ann (Kopfensteiner) Yurasits. Ann was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church and Catholic War Veterans Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to go bowling, take trips to the casino, and loved to dance.

Survivors: son, Frank E. Stimpfl and wife Renee, daughter, Michele, wife of John Wolfer; daughter-in-law, Cyndi Stimpfl; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Paul and Theresa Erkinger; brother, John Yurasits and his wife Mary; many nieces and nephews. Ann was predeceased by her son, Jerome Stimpfl.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 6 th at 10:30 a.m. in Queenship of Mary Church 1324 Newport Ave. Northampton. Family and friends may gather Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery.

Memorials may be presented to AseraCare Hospice, 7660 Imperial Way, Suite 410, Allentown, PA 18106 in loving memory of Ann. Online condolences may be offered below.
