Ann R.
Spitzer
Mar 6, 1945 — Aug 15, 2024
Ann R. Spitzer, 79, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family. Ann and her husband, Stephen E. Spitzer, celebrated 56 years of marriage on June 1st. Born March 6, 1945, in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Michael Turoscy and Anna (Halada) Turoscy Kish. Over the years, Ann worked as an assembly line worker for various electronic companies including, General Electric Co., Qualtronics Corp., and Lutron Electronics Co. Ann was the happiest person you could meet. She welcomed every single day up until the end with a big smile and in a great mood. She used music as a soundtrack for her life. It was on in the background at every opportunity, giving her something to sing or hum along to as she went about her day. Ann enjoyed being outdoors – gardening, walking, enjoying time in a park, or lounging on the front porch swing. And she looked forward to going on evening drives, either through known stomping grounds or exploring new areas of the Valley. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.
In addition to her husband, Ann is survived by her sons, Erik and Michael and his wife, Angela; granddaughters, Briana and Brittany; great-grandchildren, Callie Rose and Carson Michael; sisters, Caroline Turoscy and Kathleen Reenock and her husband, George; and several nieces and nephews.
