Obituary

Alois E. "Al" Badura, 88, of Lehigh Township, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2024 in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Inpatient Unit, Allentown. Born on October 25, 1935 in Allentown, he was a son of the late John and Helen (Prelec) Badura. Al and his wife, Adelaide (Rabert) celebrated 47 years of marriage together. He was employed in the trades for AT&T/Western Electric for many years. He honorably served our country in the US Army. Al was a faithful member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Walnutport. He was an avid woodworker.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Al is survived by stepdaughters, Mary Gallagher and husband Edward, Linda Handley and husband Darel; step-grandchildren, Tanya, Krysta, Robert III, Jason; step-great grandchildren, Ava, Bradley; step-great, great grandchild, Julian; sister, Helen Bubbs and several nieces and nephews.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 7th at 11:00 a.m. in the church, 1152 Oak Road, Walnutport. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the church. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton. Online condolences may be offered below.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Red Cloud Indian School, Historic Mission Building, 100 Mission Drive, Pine Ridge, SD 57770 in loving memory of Al.
