Alfred F. Stangl, Sr., 92 of Hanover Township, passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022, in his home surrounded by his family. Born on June 17, 1929, in Coplay, he was a son of the late Ignatz M. and Agnes A. (Hacker) Stangl. Alfred and his wife, Mary (Keglovits) celebrated 70 years of marriage together. He was a self-employed plasterer for over 30 years. In addition, he worked in maintenance for East Penn School District for 10 years. Alfred was a member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Alfred is survived by sons, Alfred Jr., and wife Mary, Dennis, and wife Jacque, Michael, Ronald, and wife Heidi; daughter, Rita Smith, and husband Scott; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Margaret Beslonovits, and many nieces and nephews. Sisters, Emma, Freida, Hilda, Agnes, Helen and brothers, Rudy, John, and Bill preceded Alfred in death.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 16 ^th at 10:00 a.m. in the church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.

Memorials: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in loving memory of Alfred.
