Alfred R. Dischinat, 91, of Forks Township, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 22, 2021 at St. Luke's Health Network-Anderson Campus surrounded by his loving family. Born November 15, 1929 in Northampton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Johanna (Dirnthaler) Dischinat. Alfred worked in carpentry all his life. He was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantel Roman Catholic Church. Alfred was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Assembly #941 Easton.

Survivors: sons, Alfred Dischinat, Jeffrey Dischinat and his wife, Mary Ellen, David Dischinat and his wife, Marilyn, and Gregory Dischinat and his wife, JoAnn; 5 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and a great granddaughter due in May; sisters, Angela Paukovits and Rose Zastko; companion, Joyce DeRea; and many nieces and nephews. Alfred was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, John, Adolph, Edward, and sisters, Johanna Legath and Anna Daumer.

Services: Funeral services will be on Saturday, May 1 ^st at 10:30 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21 ^st St., Northampton. Family and friends may gather Saturday 9:00 – 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Those in attendance will kindly be requested to practice social distancing and wear a face cover.
