Obituary

Al was a loving father and supportive spouse. He was loved dearly by his family. He was born on March 15, 1949, at Allentown General Hospital. He lived in Whitehall, PA, for the last 41 years.

Al graduated from Bloomsburg College with a Bachelors degree in business. He served in the National Guard for 6 years. He owned his own Business Form Company for the past 40 years. ANS Business Forms & Systems, since 1986.

He loved spending many hours at the hunting cabin owned by Al and his brother Dave located in Curwensville, PA. This was a 40-acre hunting haven for the brothers. Al & Dave's children & Al's grandchildren spent many happy hours at the cabin. Al also enjoyed golf in the summer months with his close friends and also his children & grandchildren.

Al was a VERY good man who instilled values & morals into his children. Even though he was divorced, he and his wife, Deb Phillips, remained close for the last 53 years. They both agreed that their children & grandchildren were the best things in their lives.

Survivors; Son Alan J. Phillips Jr., son Nicholas Michael, wife Jennifer Phillips, Grandson Brody Phillips & girlfriend Aubree, daughter Sheri Lynn, husband Justin LoPinto, Grandsons; Ayden LoPinto & girlfriend Adalia, Bryce LoPinto & wife Aiyana, Chayce LoPinto & girlfriend Ambrielle, ex-wife Deborah L Phillips & domestic partner George Acerra, brother David Phillips & family, sister-in-law Michelle Silfies & family, brother-in-law Larry Lombardo, 6 nephews, & 3 nieces.

Predeceased by Father Irvin, Mother Lorraine & Brother Kevin Phillips, Father & Mother-in-law Joseph J. & Margaret R. Lombardo & brother-in-law Joseph R. & ex-wife Sandra Lombardo.

Services: In honor of his life and legacy, a Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday, Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Hungarian Hall, 1300 Stewart St., Northampton, where we will share stories and memories together.
