Adrienne M. Janny, 90, of Northampton, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 24, 2026. She was the wife of the late Herman A. Janny, who passed away in 1986. Born February 22, 1936, in Bennington, VT, she was a daughter of the late Roland and Lucy (Betit) Longtin. Adrienne worked for many years as a floor lady at the former Tama Manufacturing in Northampton. She enjoyed knitting, working on puzzles, taking trips to the casino, cheering on her favorite baseball team, the Phillies, and occasionally relaxing with a Miller Lite. Above all, her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, meant the world to her. Adrienne cherished gatherings with family and friends, where her vibrant personality often made her the center of attention and brought joy to those around her. 

Survivors: sons, Anthony “Tony” and Michael (Diana); daughter, Christine Steiner; grandchildren, Matthew, Gregory, Kyle (Lyndi), Todd, Jodie, Nathan (Richard), and Katie (Zach); great-grandchildren, Ava, Autumn, Mya, and Kora; sister, Christine Daigneault; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Dennis, Edward, Suzanne Higgins, and John. 

Services: A gathering with the family will be held on Saturday, Oct. 31st from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the American Heart Association in Adrienne’s memory.
